A frosty morning….

The grass twinkles in the morning light..Another frost has settled upon the land.   This is really only the third frost so far this season.   It has been another warm Fall, and tomorrow it will be 60 degrees here in the foot hills of the White Mountains.

The golden leaves till hang upon most of the tress, though the red and oranges have made their way to the ground.

Today turkey hunting season starts, and I hope many hunters find their fill so that I don’t hit one with my car. When I was growing up there were no turkeys. They had pretty much all been hunted out of existence in Maine.  They developed a reintroduction system, and now there is an over abundance of them for sure!

So happy hunting, and I pray a wild turkey finds it’s way onto my dinner plate!
